The meeting was well represented by Pentecostal scholars from Asia. International representations were also present, like Dr. Harold Hunter, Dr. Vinson Synan, Dr. William Menzies and other. Many preliminary issues were discussed culmination with the election of the Charter Committee of the society. It is the effort to invite scholars from Pentecostals and Charismatics from all streams in the Asian complex to engage in theological dialogues. These engagements and dialogues are done through presentation of papers in annual conferences organized by the society.<br /><br />Planning for 2009 conference is in progress. Bangkok, Thailand has been targeted to be the city to host the event.
